“In time of peace, prepare for war”
Anonymous ponders: What is foam rolling? And I did recently get new shoes and they should be pretty good. Do shin splints last forever? Like, if I have them now, will I have it for the rest of my life?

It’s a foam roll you literally just play on rolling it all over. Lol. http://www.realjock.com/article/1218/

It depends on how you get them. If you did too much too soon, resting will help. Like running to fast for your own pace can cause them. Try maybe only running every other day. And on days you don’t run, swim or bike, jump rope. Etc. so your legs get used to it. If its something more than that, you have to find the underlying problem to them. Make sure you do get it checked out. You don’t want to think it is shin splits and you really have a stress fracture or something!
