“In time of peace, prepare for war”
Anonymous ponders: Im having trouble with finding motivation. I use to be almost 300, now Im only 40 pounds from my goal. Ive lost that drive I had 2 years ago. Im trying hard to find it. I have all the things I could ever need. From a new bike, to weights, a wii and xbox 360 fitness programs, gym, etc. I do yoga, Im able to make my own meals. I have the tools, I just have a problem with going back to work with them. Do you have any advice, I know once I get in a habit I will do it.

Maybe you need the break. I took a break and I honestly had no feeling to go back. I said fuck it. I’ll get fat. I love chocolate. Until a radio station posted a photo of me and I saw how huge I looked. I was disgusted. That was my motivation. And I realized where I went wrong too. I stopped rewarding myself. I stopped cheat meals. Worst mistake. Because when I finally had one, it. Never. Stopped. You have to find your motivation. Mine isn’t to be healthy. It isn’t to be skinny. It isn’t to look good naked. It’s to make sure I prove everyone wrong about females, chicks in the military, and the Air Force overall. Make sure you have your goals and what you want. Maybe you just need a break. You will find it again. Maybe before bed… If you have a stationary bike, ride for 15 mins. Exercise done. Next time try to make it thru a whole tv show. Or a playlist. Set little goals to achieve a big goal. That way you feel good about you eating carrots not a candy bar. You feel good inside. You want to tell people you made the choice of a veggie. You surround yourself around positive people. When I resist junk food, I text Frank and he tells me how awesome I am. That makes me feel good. Just take it one day, one meal, at a time. You have to slowly get back into the habit. Jumping into it will result back to a fall down. And if you start now, you will reach your goal by next summer. Maybe even more! Allowing one meal a week to indulge in your favorites is always a good motivator. Go out and eat or to a friends and have your cheat meal. Do not bring it home or say oh, I’ll resist until next cheat, because you know your hand will be in those cookies for breakfast next day. So don’t bring it home. I have to toss mine outside or I’ll eat junk all week! If you are craving at night, go to bed. If its like 11 and you want something bad, go to bed. You shouldn’t be up that late. Your body needs rest. Those are just some little tips I do. Just think where you will be in 3 months. You’ll wish you kept going. You could be another 15lbs down in 3months. You’ll have to get new clothes!! You find what fuels you. The rest will fall in place. I hope I helped. :/
